The theme of the event was the Security and Internet navigation for all. To support this, the main topics covered were: the promotion of digital inclusion in Ecuador, the security on the Network, the advertising of Ecuador ISOC’s actions for the day of the Internet (May 17th) and the growth of ISOC’s network in Ecuador through volunteer’s membership.
During seven days the centers of Digital Inclusion counted on more than 120 devoted ISOC volunteers in the cities of Quito and Guayaquil, and reached out to more than 1300 citizens who visited and learnt about the Internet.
