2011 Global Internet User Survey

The purpose of this meeting is to share information about a survey of Internet users around the world that was conducted this year to support and inform the Internet Society’s key priorities and programmes.
A key goal of this effort is to provide a building block for, and support outreach initiatives by Chapters. To that end, we are working to develop, and would very much appreciate your input on, tools to enable Chapters to conduct similar surveys within their regions.
We would also appreciate your input as we work to develop the second edition of the survey, which we expect to conduct later this year.
To accommodate different timezones, two sessions were offered on 31 August at 1100 and 1800 UTC.
Chair of the meeting: Greg Wood, Director, Communications Operations and Planning (ISOC)
