Vyria Paselk

Director of Internet Leadership

Vyria Paselk joined the Internet Society in July 2011 as Director of Internet Leadership Programmes. In this position she will focus on:

  • Strengthening, expanding, and accelerating ISOC's activities to reach more communities and advance the ISOC mission
  • Deepening existing and building new partner relationships as they relate to ILP programmatic activities
  • Leading and supporting current and planned ILP programmes to drive impact at the regional and local levels

Vyria has 10+ years of leadership in regional and country specific business development, channel operations, project management, partnership management, and strategic planning. She has professional experience in private, public and nonprofit sectors primarily in the technology sector and an extensive international background: residing, working, studying or traveling in 20+ countries.

Prior to joining the Internet Society, Vyria Paselk was the Senior Manager of International Partnerships at TechSoup Global, a San Francisco nonprofit which helps nonprofits globally get and use technology to heighten their impact. She helped create, support, and develop a network of nonprofit partnerships in 35 countries which distributed technology donations for companies like Microsoft, Cisco Symantec, Adobe, and many others. Vyria began her career in the telecommunications industry primarily working with cellular companies in Latin America and she also has specific experience in the global human rights sector and in the software industry.

Vyria holds an M.B.A. in Global Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, Arizona) and a B.A.in Economics/Business and International Studies from Westmont College (Santa Barbara, California).
