Internet Society Swedish Chapter takes part in Internet Days Conference

Internet Society’s Chapter in Sweden took an active role this year in the Internet Day’s Conference, which took place from November 21st – 23rd.

The event, which is one of Sweden’s most important conference and meeting place for everyone with an interest in the Internet, is a place where news about the development of the Internet is presented and knowledge is shared.

Held by .SE (The Internet Infrastructure Foundation), is now on its tenth year, offering a broader programme than ever, with 36 seminars in six parallel tracks spanning over two days.

Internet Society CEO, Lynn StAmour, was one of the keynote speakers. You can watch Lynn’s speech on Youtube.

The Internet Society Sweden Chapter lead for three sessions:

  • Net Neutrality
  • New Legal Issues for Freedom of Expression
  •  Internet Security in Sweden

Frederic Donck, director for the Internet Society European Regional Bureau, was one of the speakers in the net neutrality session.
