The Internet Society Nigeria Chapter held events in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Kano, to join the World IPv6 Launch. Together with the Nigerian Society of Engineers, IEEE Nigeria Section, Digital Sense Africa and Nigeria Internet Registration Association, the Internet Society Nigeria Chapter facilitated discussions on migration to IPv6, involvement in the Internet Engineering Task Force and the future of the Internet in Nigeria.
