The Internet Society responded today to the invitation by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs to contribute to its consultation on the process towards enhanced cooperation called for in the Tunis Agenda. The consultation is part of the UN’s ongoing efforts to deliver on the commitments made at the end of the World Summit on the Information Economy in 2005.
The written submissions will provide background for a face-to-face meeting to be held in New York on 14 December 2010. The Internet Society is applying to speak at that meeting. You can read the Internet Society contribution here.
